Sarah Coughlan

Sarah has read and edited my work for many years. Without her help I would not be where I am today. Also helpful by insisting again and again how important clear language is. Social scientists almost always forget this in their work.

Institute for comparative cultural sociology

The institute for comparative cultural sociology at the Europe University Viadrina in Frankfurt (Oder) has been my new academic home since July. I am working on a DFG-funded project here with Professor Andreas Reckwitz (on photo) and PostDoc student Hilmar Schäfer who also has a very cool blog on practice methodologies.

Prof. Thomas Scheffer

Thomas is professor of sociology with a focus on methods of interpretative research and was my MA supervisor.

Mattering Press

Mattering Press is a cool open access peer reviewed publisher that specialises in research on the relationship of science, technology and the society. It was also co-founded by my dear friend Endre Danyí, who must be credited for introducing me to ethnographic research.
