All the world is not, of course, a stage, but the crucial ways in which it isn’t are not easy to specify.

I am a social scientist and educator from Berlin, Germany. My academic interests include the sociology of knowledge, interaction and culture in organisations. With a theoretical background in systems theory, symbolic interactionism and ethnomethodology, I explore processes of translation between wider social systems, organisations and interaction systems.
Currently, I am working in a 3-year PhD project at the Europe University Viadrina in Frankfurt (Oder) on the social construction of aesthetic artifacts in architectural practice.
